I have both 0F10311 and 0F10629 drives. The 0F10311 has an identifier HDS722020ALA330 printed below the "RATED: 5V 400mA,12V" text.

An online search will point you to a relevant NewEgg page. Sadly, the editor won't let me post "phone numbers". Go figger.

So an 0F10311 is a 7K2000 Deskstar.

The 0F10629 drive has an identifier HUA722020ALA331 in the same location...

... which makes this drive an Ultrastar A7K2000. Again, an online search will show you a NewEgg page with this information.

That's assuming that the HDS / HUA distinction is real and not product sector differentiation for identical drives. (Call me cynical.)

None of the images I've run across for this model number show the HUA / HDS text, but that's what you should look for.

You knew this already.

A way to determine whether this is an ultrastar or a deskstar (or yet something else) is to order one and check the HUA / HDS text.

Or perhaps someone who has purchased this drive can post the text.

Call me cynical, but the fact that the text is obscured in the images I see suggests to me that this is a lower-performance model.
