The cord is at least 6ft long, i am 6'4 and it goes from my feet to my forehead......yeah i got a big forehead but not that big,.

I'm planning on using this mostly for MMOs, are the macros character specific, or is there a way to make profiles for each character/game? or is it just a standard macro function?

DeathStalker Ultimate keyboard has very extensive macro features, courtesy of the Synapse 2.0 software you have to use. Yes, you can create multiple profiles and have them linked to an executable. You can create macros on the fly too with the switchblade interface/buttons.

Does this come with the drivers and everything else needed to make the keyboard operational?

The entire keyboard is plug an go but to use the actual touch screen u have to download the program off the disk which will also let u customize your keyboard

I seen a review with the con of input lag, repeating key inputs, and key inputs not triggering. This happens randomly with any key. I've been wondering if there was a fix, or what some of you did to fix it?

Must have been a defect.. I've had this keyboard for a year or so now and it has never failed me yet! Fast response time! Keys ALWAYS triggering when pressed and no input lag whatsoever. Not just hyping this up for newegg at all! I have had the black widow ult and also a Logitech but this has been my favorite board by far! I had the regrets when I first purchased cause it was so pricey but once it came in it was worth ever penny!! Chicklet keys have been a godsend by not being as loud as my previous keyboards! Only con I would say is the need for razors ui! The razor synapse is terrible software but with everything said it is such a minor con I couldn't see not buying it!

Him not using or downloading razor synapse might have also been the cause of the reponse and lag of his keyboard not having his setting right..

How big is the keyboard in inches?

Product Dimensions: 10.2 x 22.1 x 2.4 inches ; 4.8 pounds, and if you are looking into buying the Razer keyboard bag to go along with it it wont fit. I learned that out the hard way.

What is the distance from the center of Q to the center of P? I know the keyboard standard is about 6 3/4 inch. I'm looking for one with about a 7 7/8 inch Q-P like my current keyboard.

what is then difference between this model and the new one, is there a specific difference or just one under the cover that ends in identical operation a flaw was just fixed as a workaround?

There is no difference.. This is also the newer model not the other one. Also the only differences are that this was made newer and also 10 bucks cheaper! Great buy for sure! I was very pleased with this purchase jus for the game timers and ingame functions. Also just so u know rarer synapse has to be open for this to work with your apps you download so heed my warning when I say that razer synapse isn't the most reliable software. Other than that it's such a sexy keyboard

Does this keyboard work with Mac?  Specifically will I still be able to program the LCD?  Please let me know..very interested in purchasing this.

Mad Catz is related to Microsoft and there is no software and drivers available for linux, Unix, and Mac.
