Question 1

Are the keys illuminated?  I play with lights off and want the keys to be lit... Anybody know?

No. The only illuminated part is the logo at the lower edge in the middle.

Question 2

What are all the little holes on the bottom for? I'm guessing it's for LEDs but I'm not sure. And if it is for LEDs can I have a link to some that will fit? Thanks for the help

Mine doesn't have any holes on the bottom. The visiable LED on this keyboard or mine is the blue like cross at the bottom of the KB itself, below the window key.

Question 3

Is this a mechanical key boar?

No - not even close. But on- that it is very comfortable and responsive for price and what it is. For gaming and typing does very well.

Question 4

How do I turn the light off?

I did not see an option in the included software however after i spilled a drink on it i took it apart to clean and dry it and i removed the led it is simple to take apart/reassemble.

Question 5

In the description it mentions one of the features is that all the keys are programmable. Does this include the Sleep, Wake, etc. keys? I would like to disable them so I don't accidentally shut off my PC.

As far as I can tell, with the included software you can not change the non-traditional keys (media keys, power, sleep, wake up etc).  You can change every traditional key on the keyboard to do whatever you like tho.

Just wish I could change the power, sleep, e-mail and a few other of the keys.

Question 6

Why can't this item be shipped to an address in New York State?  Is New York now considered a separate country & shipping a $13.99 keyboard is a National Security risk?

Probably. haha...not sure, all I can think is it might have to do with e-commerce to your state and collection and payment of state taxes. I had an issue here in NC on one item...others NP at all, go figure. Maybe the "red" keys mean something bad or contain a secret message. If you still need it maybe you can send to a friend in NJ or CONN and pick up when you visit. Hope this helps and maybe makes you laugh a little. Good Luck.
