Did this keyboard come with the extra blue keys? I bought one and it was just a keyboard in the box with nothing else.

From the pictures, it seems like it should have come with the blue buttons.

Yes, the blue keys should be included inside the box along with the keyboard but will not be installed. They should have been packaged in a clear zip-lock bag along with a handy key top remover tool. You should have also received a single page "RK-8300 Gaming Keyboard Users manual" that would have explained, 1) package contents; 2) Installation; 3) Functions of... multimedia keys, 19 roll over keys, 3 polling rate adjustments, G1-G5 dedicated macro keys, and hot to swap WASD & directional key functions. It is a very intelligent keyboard.

Is this a mechanical keyboard?

No, it's just a membrane keyboard. You're going to have to pay more if you want a mechanical one. The cheapest mechanical keyboard you can get is probably the Rosewill RK-6000.

Do extra keys come in box?    i didn't get any in the box only the "free gift.

looks to be advertised as a extra set should be in the box + thee free set from newegg.

All keys should come on the keyboard black. The only extra keys should come in blue and they are W A S D and the arrow keys.  The blue keys come in a separate bag or box ( I don't remember which) there is also a key puller the will come with the extra keys

Does this keyboard work with windows 8??

The keyboard connects with USB. Keyboards are never Operating System specific. There is no reason it shouldn't work with Windows 8 or any other OS.

How do you disable the Rapid Fire feature?

Press G5 to enable/disable keys G1 through G4. G1 through G3 is programmage, G4 is not. G4 is rapid fire.
