The one I received looked to have nothing repaired. It could have been a software issue, or personal taste. It came only with the 'frame' and a standard keyboard, if however returned it wanted one of the special 'key inserts' they would have to buy it separately. They also might have thought it would be more useful in other online games outside of WoW. It only has minimal ability without user programming for other games.
My opinion is that it was not a mechanical reason that it was returned. Mine look very good. I am getting used to the hing gap left in the keyboard, which is the only thing I have noticed in actual usage.
