ok basically one question, all around is this a good gaming keyboard?

I'm not a serious gamer but if I had the choice of buying it again I would. The macros are nice since I play a lot of mmorpg's plus there are 3 separate modes you can switch for different games I would say the price is well worth it

What is the noise level of the keys?  Is it designed to make a "clicking" sound when the keys are struck?  Or is it insulated to reduce noise?

If your touch is gentle, it makes a noticeable click when you push a key down, and a muffled sound when you release it.

If your touch is more vigorous, as is likely for people used to the more common membrane-type boards, it makes a noticeable tap when you strike a key.

Question 4

Can you dim and turn the backlight off entirely?

You can turn the color to black and it becomes really dim
