Question 1

Would somebody take a tape measure and measure straight across (edge to edge) for me on this?  I have a 32.1" wide area to fit in, and many of the measurements for this device differ.

It's a bit difficult to measure since it is curved, but from the upper right corner to upper left corner it is about 31.75" It's also a great monitor by the way!

Is the front of the panel screen made of glass or plastic?

description shows 3440 x 1440 (4K Resolution) - that's what many refer to as (2k) resolution or QHD.. assuming the spec sheet is correct?

4K, 2K, QHD, WQHD, are all just ways of marketing the resolution of a monitor. 1280x720 is considered the first "HD" resolution; it is twice the resolution of standard tv's (640x480) before "HD" was a term. QHD, which stands for "Quad HD" generally means a resolution of 2560x1440; 2560x1440 has 4 times the amount of pixels than that of 1280x720. 2K is a generic term that is used for resolutions which are roughly 2-2.5 as many pixels as 1280x720; 1920x1080 and 2560x1080 are both "2K" resolutions. WQHD is another marketing term that stands for "Wide Quad HD" referring to monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is the standard ratio for most modern monitors. WQHD and QHD are essentially the same thing. Resolutions that aren't a 16:9 aspect ratio, or aren't your standard resolutions (1280x720, 1600x900, 1920x1080, 2560x1440, and 3840x2160) get lumped into marketing terms like "2K". This monitor has a resolution of 3440x1440; It is considered and "ultrawide monitor" meaning it has a 21:9 aspect ratio. Some would call it 2K, some would call it 4K, in reality it is just 3440x1440. Don't let the marketing terms confuse you.

Question 4

Is it possible to watch 3D blu-ray movies on this monitor?

Don't know why one would want too since the added frame rate is to specifically support mitigation of in game frame to frame tearing artifacts? Not to mention you would need 3D glasses that would sync to the monitor itself which would likely be the much bigger issue. Most blue rays are 24hz for 2D and twice that for 3D and depending on the TV/monitor you they may possibly frame multiply that to 60hz/120hz. Needless to say, this gaming monitor isn't for 3D blue ray viewing but I'm sure someone has tried with some limited success? Typically one does this once to say it works then they never do it again. Wait for low latency, high frame rate OLED monitors with true HDR and the faster interface standards, then ask the question again for 4K-3D support :)

Question 5

For those who noticed flickering is that only with Free sync enabled? I'll have a nvidia card and only need it be able to play at 100hz.

Focus on the cable, cable, cable! The monitor does not matter if it is fed corrupted data due to poor cables or cables with bad shielding or both. You need a very high quality cable for the higher bandwidth to support higher resolution at the higher frame rates. Short cables are also much better than longer ones.  If you turn off free-sync and it's rock solid and then turn on free-sync and notice image loss or corruption then 99% (not 100%) chance it's your cable.

The description says this is black, but this model only comes in White.
So is this monitor black? or White?

White. More specifically it's only white on the back. The front is silver (as you can see in the pictures). I'm unsure why it says black at all.
