Question 1

does this stand have to be 'bolted' to a desk? a glass desk was bought and it does not have a cable hole or anything else to allow for weight distribution. basically my question is: does this stand stay upright by itself, without clamping it to the desk somehow? thank you.

Ana, the stand does not have to be bolted. It doesn't have any holes in the base to be bolted down. I'm using it right now with 3 24" monitors and it sits ontop of my desk with weight distrubtion just fine. If you wish to bolt it down I think you would have to drill through the metal base.

Just be careful putting it together, it reccomends 2 people and I always needed help because it can get flimsly when putting one monitor on at a time like a seesaw.

Question 2

it says it comes with "mounting hardware"...does that include screws for the vesa mounts?

Yep screws for the mounts are included, only thing i had a hard time with was the alignmen and the length of cord needed.

Question 3

I am looking at getting this stand. Does this stand allow you to turn the outside monitors to face inner more? Was looking for a good stand for a gaming eyefinity setup 3 x 24in.

You can set the monitors up to curve in. If you are using 24" monitors, you may not get enough curve and the monitors may slightly overlap if you try to curve them too much. I am using 22" monitors with about an 80° overall. It works ok for my needs. Would be better on a desk that is not against a wall. Potential issues: Cant adjust depth of center monitor. Design is slightly front heavy.  No room to position close to wall because monitory adjustment/lockdown knobs are 5" out from the back of the monitors.

Has anyone used this with 23.6 inch monitors in portrait? Did it work well?

I have not, but I am using it with 23.6" monitors in landscape mode and I can tell just from looking that it should be fine.  The only issue would POSSIBLY be how high off the desk you want the bottom of the monitors.  But set at its tallest setting, I would say it looks like even in portrait orientation the monitors would be at least several inches off the desk.  And they would certainly fit well horizontally - you would have plenty of room to work with.

Question 5

Is this vertically adjustable? What is the height range?

Each monitor mount can be adjusted up and down with a maximum range of approx 30cm. The practical vertical adjustment range will depend on the monitors your install and their installation orientation. When using monitors like the VS24A from ASUS. My practical adjustment range decreases to about 14cm

Question 6

We have Dell P2314H which are 23" with dimensions of 21.5 in x 14.3. Will this stand hold three of these?

That depends on how flat you want the monitors versus how much you want them to wrap around. My monitor is 20" wide and I can get about 35º bend at max distance. Another 1.5" will make it very difficult to fit all 3 with any kind of wrap around. If you were to use 2 21.5" on the ends and a 20" in the middle, that may work better. I would not recommend this for anything larger than 20" if you want 3 the same.

What is the center post height?  We are looking for something that we can fit the calculator underneath (5" from top of desk).

Just measured it!  It's approximately 14" tall, taking the measurement from my desk (as opposed to the top of the base).

I have a 24" triple-monitor setup.  The bottom bezel of the monitors are currently about 4.5" off the desk.  If needed, I could raise them up another 2.75" for a total of 7.25" of desk clearance.

Question 8

Would this fit two 24" monitors (portrait) on either side of 1 27" monitor (landscape)?

That might work. I used two 22s and a 19inch tv. The 24s should be around 12.5 in portrait. It is that 27 that might be too wide for the arms to even start to angle in. Since it says 24 inch. I would think 3 24s. But that would be really wide. This is a nice stand. I would only worry about the 27 covering up some of the 24s screenspace.

Question 9

Can this be mounted with a clamp?

First of all this stand does not come with a clamp but yes, the base is flat so you can clamp it to the desk or you can remove the base but then you would need to fabricate something to make the clamp system work.

Question 10
