So, it comes with a software CD and has "unlockable features." Does that mean that this product is not plug and play on your basic windows platform? I'm just looking for a quality 5 button mouse that fits my hand.

So, it comes with a software CD and has "unlockable features."  Does that mean that this product is not plug and play on your basic windows platform?  I'm just looking for a quality 5 button mouse that fits my hand.

I think all wired mice are plug & play.. What the unlock-able features are referring to are most likely the customizing and assigning profiles, buttons, etc. It seems that there are multiple profiles that can be assigned with this mouse. What i'm wondering is if the DPI is truly customize able.

IS the DPI adjustable to any number? or is it a set number
