Good gaming mouse with its flaws 4/19/2018 1:48:44 PM

Pros: -durable, smooth operation
-customizable lighting
-on the fly adjustable dpi; you can switch between 3 dpi settings with the click of a button. You can make those dpi settings whatever you want.

Cons: -Not very ergonomic; doesn't fit your hand that well.
-scroll wheel and buttons are in an odd place and they don't feel natural.

Overall Review: I ended up buying another mouse after owning this for about a year and a half. I never got over the feel and awkwardness of the scroll wheel location. I never had any performance issues with it and with was heavily used for gaming.

Very Percise 8/8/2017 12:23:11 PM

Pros: I've never used such a great mouse before, it's very fast and precise to the point where I could turn the mouse acceleration in Windows down to level 3 and turn off software precision. I love it!
-Very Comfortable
-Buttons are easy to use
-Tactile Click
-Very fast and responsive
-Very accurate
-Ergonomic Grip (right hand only)
-Omni-directional mouse wheel click is handy (at least if your application or game can take advantage of it)

Cons: -Appears to be no way to completely disable LEDs (you can change the breath speed and the color)
-Non-braded cable.

This has been a great replacement. 10/23/2016 8:38:03 AM

Pros: This has been a great replacement for my last gaming mouse from a lesser known company. This mouse is definitely better quality. Nice and smooth on my shiny table.

Cons: There are no weights for balancing. I wish there were buttons on the right hand side.

Intermediate Mouse 7/1/2016 10:56:44 PM

Pros: Comfortable

Cons: Rubber Grips
Mouse Feet

Overall Review: So, for having this mouse for more than 6 months I can accurately tell you what the mouse is actually. For me I play CSGO and alot of it. Aside from work I total almost 90 hours a week. This mouse is beat and I am buying a new one, but this has got me through what it was intended to do and for the money I spent. This will sound disgusting but the rubber sides for "grip" will fall off and the creases between will fill up with anything whether it be dust or gamer gunk but its nasty. The Left mouse is a bit stuck again cus the edges just fill with what ever is on your hands no matter if they are clean or not this picks thing up dust like a swiffer sweeper. Otyher than the mouse breaking down its functionally fine besides the feet pads on the bottom. 7/10 would upgrade again.

Gigabyte made another quality product 1/24/2016 10:19:26 PM

Pros: I guess I would say I have small hands, but long fingers. I have a hard time finding mice that are comfortable for me to use for long periods of time. This mouse fits my hand perfectly. To give you an idea, I rest the base of palm on the mouse pad, and use my fingers to move the mouse around. The high dpi, which I have set to the 5600 setting, lets me move the mouse flawlessly across the screen (Eyefinity, 3 screens) while barely moving my hand. Perfect for in-game shooting. Thick usb cable that has not kinked in just over 2 years of usage. Weight seems very reasonable, not heavy, but also not light and cheap feeling. The plastic(?) feet on bottom, glide smoothly over a hard, fine surfaces. I use the Xtrac pads mouse pad, although it works just as well on a foam pad. Cannot beat this price for a good gaming mouse!

Cons: After a couple years of use, I still have no complaints

Overall Review: There are 3 light settings, Red, Green, and Blue. It fades in and out. I'm assuming some people might find it bright, it does not bother me. The mouse has two additional buttons just above the thumb (Forward, back?). I don't use them, but they are well within easy thumb reach. Most of the mouse is coated in a matte finish, this keeps the hand from getting sweaty or moist. I also bought this mouse for a friend, for his birthday. He was very pleased with it.

Know what you're getting yourself in for! 10/16/2015 3:53:45 PM

Pros: -Adjustable High DPI
-Very clicky
-Affordable

Cons: -Small design
-Feels awkward for bigger hands
-Mouse wheel should be up further. Way too far back in the middle finger so much so that it doesn't feel natural

Overall Review: I'm being very generous giving it 3 eggs. I can't say there was any fault with the product in and of itself. Everything below is based on PERSONAL PREFERENCE ONLY and shouldn't reflect the mouse in general.

I have to say that this is inferior to the M6800 mouse in just about every single way. It's half the price, fits like a glove on bigger hands, the 2 thumb buttons are sized just right and placed perfectly, the mouse wheel is exactly where it should be, and it just feels right shape wise in your hand. Now you can tell it isn't made with high quality in mind, but I have to question why Gigabyte didn't take that original WELL POPULARIZED design and just improve it. This mouse feels like a major step backwards.

Down to the rubber for the thumb, nothing about this feels right. I failed to realize it was a laser mouse (shame on me), but what's the deal in the first place with all the new high-end Gigabyte mice being laser now instead of the award winning optical mouse? Its been awhile, but this reminded me why I hated laser mice and personally optical is better. Not more than 5 minutes after putting it on my mouse pad did a spec of dust get in and literally turned the cursor into a lag fest until I had to basically white room my computer area. With that said the settings never felt right. The 800/1600/3200 DPI settings by default felt completely different than the M6800 optical mouse. The 800 felt like an optical 400 and the 1600 felt like the optical 800. You get the point. Funny thing is while playing a game everything suddenly changed. The 1600 Laser DPI that felt like 800 DPI Optical in Windows felt like 1600 Optical DPI again. Threw my entire gaming session off as I couldn't seem to grasp what the hell was going on. Drove me nuts for the next hour until I ripped it out of my computer and threw it back in the drawer where it will stay permanently. I'd rather deal with my M6800 that's starting to double click than this new mouse. In fact I will be ordering more of those mice before they eventually stop selling optical and a superior design for inferior mice that cater to who knows who.

I reiterate this is just a personal preference review, but I think those familiar with the M6800 would like to know that this mouse is nothing like it.

Great Mouse!!!! 7/30/2015 11:26:02 PM

Pros: The mouse has worked smoothly and perfectly since the day I bought it over 2 years ago! The weight of the mouse is perfect, and I love the feel of the grips on my thumb. Overall couldn't be happier with this mouse.

Cons: It would be nice if you could make the LEDs stop pulsing and just be constantly on all the time.

Overall Review: I would say that it is definitely the best mouse you can buy for the price.

worst mouse ever 4/17/2015 7:17:49 PM

Pros: None.

Cons: Absolute worst mouse I have ever owned. The mouse "jumps" around on the screen and is so inaccurate that it can't be used for anything of consequence. I've tried using it both with my Mac and my Windows Laptop and it has the same problem on both. It's been sitting in my "computer stuff" box that has cables and extras for over a year now and I thought I'd just try it out again but now I remember why I put it in the box. This mouse isn't even worth $1 because it is so poor.

Overall Review: I won't buy another Gigabyte product after this anymore, and I loved their main boards for building my own computers.
I ended up buying a $20 Logitech keyboard/mouse combo and that mouse works so much better that I've been using it the past year plus.
