Does this headset come equipped with a mic and headphones?

No it does not. If yu have a web cam that will work but there are no headphones with it.

Will this be ok for Flight Sim X ?

I'm not sure I would recommend this configuration for a flight sim - it should work, but this set needs to have the controllers in view to get an accurate controller position and that would make selecting many controls harder if they aren't right in your field of view.  I really like this set *because* of it's self-reliance/"inside out" tracking, but I suspect that for flight sims it would be more frustrating than a keyboard/mouse or flight stick/pedal combination (perhaps  a set with external tracking might be better, but I doubt it would be that much better).

Question 3

Why are there no Specs under the Specification tab?  No resolution, no FOV no screen type... etc.  Tell us something why don't ya?

The specs are at Acer and they are 1400dpi per screen best res out there. They work really well I am having a lot of fun with them. Respond better than my Vive or Oculus, no sensors they work from inside out but asre just VR glasses the cameras on the side are really just sensors. They are going to be hooked up to steam sometime in 2018 but not a lot of games so far but they are new and a lot is coming out.

Question 4

What is the max IPD? Per the Acer site Max IPD (Inter Pupillary Distance) is a measly 2.48" (62.992mm).. so does not appear to be adjustable and does not accommodate anyone with a higher IPD.

The Acer HMDs do not have mechanical IPD adjustment.  Windows Mixed Reality comes with software IPD adjustments, that improves image distortion and depth accuracy based on your IPD. Users can set their custom IPD via Settings > Mixed Reality > Headset display > Calibration
