What is 'light scribe'?  Is that some kind of fancy software?  Does it copy disks?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Light scribe is software that is supposed to enable you to directly label your recorded discs using special discs made with the labeling surface. However, I have been unable to open this software on this particular burner. It records well as I use it to burn many music discs and I am satisfied with it's performance. Light scribe is not what dictated my purchase of this unit, but rather the LG quality brand and pricing.

will this work in Windows 10 with secure boot enabled in UEFI BIOS?

Sorry, I have no idea, but figure it should. I've had no troubles with it and really like the Lightscribe ability instead of markers or stick-on labels. What else could one do, unless you adapt 3D printing in color to a DVD "canvas".
