Is this add-on for only a 1 year subscription, or for life of the PC?

It's for just one year. If you are wanting lifetime free then use windows built in AV. Norton does not offer a lifetime product.

Where is the Product Key?

It's in the e-mail confirmation that Newegg sent you, which contains the download link as well, after you bought the software.

How long do I have to use the serial key associated with this product? Can I wait and use it next year?

Hi Karl, I didn't install the software it came free in a bundle. But I have used Norton's licensed software before and it's 1yr after the install. it's normally good until a new complete version comes out. if you wait until a new version they normally offer a discount price if the old version isn't supported. You can email Norton support to find out how long you have to be sure.

how to find product key?

There's usually a file in your documents folder or C:\ labeled symantec. It's a wordpad or notepad file.

I purchased this product but have no idea how to download it. where is the product key? Where do I download it?

If you received a box, the product key should be on a card inside the box, about the size of a credit card.

How do you get the full product key? When I click download it redirects me to Norton and the first thing I need is a product key, but New Egg only gives the last 4 digits as far as I've been able to figure out.
