48v So they will not work with 12v IP poe cameras correct?

IP Cameras is what this unit is designed for, if you specify what camera you are using I may be able to give you a definitive answer. Generally speaking IP cameras will work fine, most have a 12V accessory connection for you to use a separate power supply instead of the POE.
