Pros: For the most part, a good machine.

Cons: Don't believe the 8 hour battery life lie. Within 2 months of receiving my net book my battery was down to 2 hours on a full charge. And good luck getting support. If your idea of support is talking to a non-English speaking Indian, then go for it. Plus they have attitudes, are smug, and talk down to you.

Overall Review: I wrote the US Head Quarter and Taiwan HQ, but no body wants to stand behind the product. My advice is to find another company to buy from.

Pros: -adequate speed for web browsing. -looks nice. -price.

Cons: glossy screen. Glare is for chumps.

Overall Review: I love this thing. I use it for all shady activity to keep my main rig virus free. :)

Pros: Wow .. I really like my new netbook! I got it for a discounted price .. it's very portable .. it's fast for what it is .. it's easy to upgrade the RAM (which I did .. got a 2gb kit for a cool 30 bucks ... lower latency too) .. not to mention the white design looks sweet and the screen is beautiful! You really do get a great picture when you do anything 3D like visualizations in WMC for example. It's got a spot for a 3G sim card so you can go totally wireless .. so that's a nice feature I had to discover myself. The wifi is really reliable btw as well. I get a good connection in my room which on my desktop requires an antenna extender to get a good connection whereas this just picks it up and gives me good speed as-is. It's nice being able to finally go around and have a nice laptop. Yeah, it's not anywhere near the speed demon my desktop is but I'm not interested in gaming on a laptop. That's for desktops with fast video cards and big monitors ^_^ But anywho .. all in all this rocks!

Cons: Well, obviously it does not have an optical drive being a tiny, lightweight netbook .. so that's not a con. The only negative I have really been annoyed by is the touchpad. It's not horrible but on occasion the scroll feature (acts like a mousewheel) activates when I'm going from right to left or from up to down .. but I'm now used to it so that's not a big issue. Also the keyboard took a lil while to adjust to .. but again not a big issue. I knew what I was getting when I made the purchase .. and I love my new netbook!

Overall Review: Well, as I said before I upgraded to 2gb of DDR2 667 RAM .. to be exact, it's the Mushkin RAM with 4-4-4-12 timings. Much better than the stock 1GB kit it came with. I can see a difference in how fast my programs react and it's just a lot snappier and quicker when I do pretty much anything. It's well worth the 32 bucks and change for a good 2gb kit. It's as simple as taking a screw out and releasing the bracket that holds the stick in and replacing that one with the new one. No dismantling or anything. But yeah .. even if you don't upgrade the memory it is still a very responsive and quick computer in XP. I got myself an optical drive so I dont have to transfer my progs and such to my USB drive as well. It should be here Monday. Can't wait. I am going to put the Windows 7 RC on it when it arrives too. Should be just as good as XP or better speed and reliability-wise. BTW GMA booster is a must-have. Unlocks the video. Anywho - all in all .. this is a great portable machine. It's great!

Pros: -Easier to upgrade than the 8.9, if you're stuck between the two, i highly recommend the 10.1. -Small, compact, and easily stowed away for on the go usage. -Can run movies pretty good, and can even run HD-movies fairly easily -Screen is bright and very vibrant -Battery life is no where near my main laptop (12 cell), topping out at about 5-6 hours, and around 4 hours if you're constantly taxing the system.

Cons: -Keys feel a little cheap, space bar has an occasional squeak to it. -Takes a second to get used to the smaller sized keyboard, but that's hardly a con. -Rocker bar on the mouse pad is hard to use. -Intel GMA (need i say more?)

Overall Review: I bought this netbook for my Mother and she absolutely loves it. It's great for on the go processing at school, work, or where-ever you need to go. The integrated graphics chipset isn't great but i knew that going in with my purchase. Despite that, you can make do and if you know what you're doing, this bad boy can handle all your HD content, music, email, surfing etc.

Pros: Very lightweight, easy to carry. Bright sharp screen. All the features I need. Excellent battery life - it's gone 4 - 6 hours, depending on hard drive usage. Nice feeling keyboard. Upgradeable memory. Low price for what you get. Seems to be well made.

Cons: Glossy screen, glare in light. Touchpad erratic (like they all are), but I use a mouse with a nano-receiver most of the time. A tad on the slow side, but that's to be expected, and is acceptable, considering the low price.

Overall Review: I bought this netbook strictly to carry on trips. It went on an Alaska cruise very shortly after I purchased it, and performed like a champ. I was able to carry it to all portions of the ship that had wifi reception, and it even elicited comments from other passengers. It will travel to my son's for Thanksgiving and I'm looking forward to his reaction. My "big" computer is a Sager desktop replacement and was a real chore to lug around. I just put this little guy in my backpack, along with lots of other stuff, and I'm good to go. If you recognize the limitations of the netbook (small keyboard, slower processor, lack of optical drive), it can fill a real need.
