Does this have any 3G, 4G, LTE capability? In other words, I want to connect to the internet outside a wifi "hotspot".  If not, is there a tablet in this one's price range that does that?

If I'm reading your question correctly, you're wondering if this tablet has the capability to connect to the Internet without having a wi-fi hotspot (such as bookstores, coffee shops, etc.) As far as I know it does not. Maybe your cell provider could answer this.
Some smart phones can work as their own 'hotspots' and you can tether the tablet and your phone together. I however, have never done this (so don't quote me on it).

If you're asking if you can connect to the Internet with your own connection (such as at home) or when you're out and about and a  wi-fi spot already exists - then absolutely you can.

As for knowing anything about other tablets - I can't help you there. This is the only one we own.

Yes. I connect with my wi-fi at home or you can take it anywhere there is free wi-fi.

I don't believe it does since it does not have the official USB OTG logo. There may be a work-around method for this, but that's something beyond my knowledge.

The Kindle app definitely works on it because I have installed it and used it many times already. It was the entire reason I bought this tablet. You get it from Google Play.
I can't help on the audible part, sorry.

what is the difference with the lite and regular tab 3?

I'm not for certain on this, but I think one is just a newer model than the other. I think the lite is the older model. I base this on the fact that when I went to 2 different retail stores to buy the clear sticky protective cover from the Lite, the cutouts were in the wrong place. What was in the store had cutouts at the top for the sound, while the Lite tablet I bought here has the sound on the back of the tablet.
