Okay, so I am considering this MSI GP60 2OD-052US laptop but I need to know the speed of the hard drive. It seems to me that 5400 RPM would bog this system down and I wonder Why are there no specs listed for HS speed. Can you provide a link that has this data?

I purchased this laptop in October and I am pretty sure it shipped with a 7200 RPM drive.  Speed is okay but I think a large part of the reason it's not faster is the Symantec AV and all of its spamtastic "features," which has expired and I haven't gotten around to removing it.  As far as games go, I have run Borderlands 2, Age of Empires II HD, League of Legends, Path of Exile and a couple of others on it and it handles them all like a champ.  The cooling "turbo boost" button does its job really well, heat pours out of the exhaust vents when you fire it up (it gets a little loud but I usually have headphones in anyway) and even during a marathon BL2 session of 6+ hours it never bogged down due to overheating. I have the same question as A shopper. I'm looking for the 128-bit gk107 not the weak 64-bit gk208. Which version does this laptop have? Also wondering if this is GDDR5 or DDR3?

okay so i`m looking into buying this product and i am very impresses with what i see as of yet but i`m going to be using this for a variety of reasons ranging from gaming to simple browsing and i was wondering if A) will this laptop be suitable to games such as skyrim, call of duty black ops 2 and chivalry medieval warfare and B) will this laptop stay relatively cool during low usage settings like browsing the internet?

I've only had this laptop for a little while, but so far it works really well for those things. I also wanted a computer to be able to game and do normal things. It runs games fine, skyrim, black ops 2, ghosts. 
It does get hot if you put it on your lap, but as for just normal browsing it doesn't really get that hot. It blows out really hot air but the computer iitself doesn't seem to get too terribly warm. Also there is a button near the power button that you can push to make the fan blow harder if need be.
