What is involved in upgrading this tablet to Ice cream sandwich? Do you already have the refurbished tablets upgraded?

Hello Paul,
I just checked my ASUS TF201.  It automatically upgrades. It was previously Ice Cream Sandwich or 4.0, but is presently 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean).

I really love this thing and have stored movies and books on it.

When I first got it, I set it up for automatic upgrades and have not had to be concerned about that since.

Anyway, go to Settings, Scroll down to About Tablet. Click on it.  Look at the column on your right. You will see Android version. Then, look at the top of that column to see System Update.  Click on that. It will tell you if you have the current Android version.

I believe Asus well honor a 90-day manufacturer warranty on their refurbished products. However I would check their website for confirmation.

what is the max size of the micro sdhc card?  how much is hte docking station or can any blue tooth keyboard be used?

Currently we have a 16Gb microSd card in the tablet, but I also have a 32Gb microSd which I just put in it.  The card has movies on it - I was able to play one of the movies (just tried it to be sure) - so it appears that the tablet can "address" at least a 32Gb micro sdhc card.

We purchased the tablet as a "set" with the mating dock/keyboard.  It makes a nice complement to the tablet - basically makes it "look like" a netbook - but the operating system is Android (rather than Microsoft).  The table does have Bluetooth (we have not used it) - so I would imagine that you could use any bluetooth keyboard or mouse with the tablet.  Not sure how "handy" it would be --- the matching dock/keyboard also has a battery in it - which makes the "battery" use of the tablet (and dock/keyboard) estimated to be double what the tablet alone would be.  Personally, I would recommend the matching dock/keyboard, rather than a separate keyboard/mouse.

What is the processor type?

Quad Core NVIDIA Tegra 3 AP33H processor which runs at 1.4 GHz.  And for a tablet, that's pretty screaming fast, but I think the tablet has been discontinued.  Better luck with the TF300 model.
