No. The Vivo Tab comes with 32-bit Windows 8.1 (same version that runs on your Intel x86 desktop) and Office Home & Student (permanent license, not the Office 365 subscription thing).

The main problem is that Wndows 8.1 and Office together occupy a large portion of the 32GB system disk. If I had to buy this again I would go for the 64GB version.

Windows 8.1 runs well enough on this device. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and it upgraded without trouble and runs as well as Windows 8.1.

Question 2

This deice is suppose to come with microsoft office, why did mine not come with it?

Mine came with it, but it might have to be activated using the product key in the box. If for some reason it isn't on there, you can download a trial of office 2013 and then use the key to activate the trial. If that doesn't work or there isn't an activation key in the box, then you will need to contact customer service and probably get a key or an entire unit replacement. 
Unrelated though, this has been a pretty good tablet in the few weeks Ive been using it.

Has anybody tried installing a linux distribution on this tablet?

Can this device run Zbrush at all?

I can't vouch for Zbrush, but I use sketchbook pro and artrage on mine. I've noticed on artrage it will get a little slow and lag on brush strokes. The initial wacom driver built in is not as nice (sensitivity responsiveness) as my graphire4 tablet. There is also some issues with that wacom driver compatibility with different software packages (gimp/photoshop have issues), so you'll have do a little research.

I'd suggest if doing heavy work, get something a tad bit beefier spec wise with slightly more screen space. Without having a demo available to try it, I can't say that you'd have a smooth experience.

Can you install windows programs on the device and if you can, can they be installed on an external SD card?

yes of course you can install windows program actually it just like windows 8 on normal lap top or desktop pc but a bit slower of course.
installing on external i think its possible as the mini usb port is OTG where you can connect it to external devices. i havent tried it but i can try it and let you know.
