Pros: 7-inch form factor is nice. Fast. Very responsive screen, excellent image quality. Great ASUS quality. For a $100 tablet to have WiFi AND GPS is something. Most others (if not all) in this price range are WiFi only.
The previous reviewer lamented that it did not come with the USB cable and wall adapter. The manual clearly states that the accessories you get (or don't get in this case) vary by country or region. These parts can be had for next to nothing if you know where to go.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: For the price, you can't go wrong.
Pros: * ASUS does a good job to fine tune their software. The speed is satisfactory, and I have no complain about their software.
* The display is excellent and better than I expect.
* The built quality of the whole tablet feels great. ZenUI is great!
* I am a fan of ASUS!!!!
Cons: * The battery life is not long enough. I only use it for email, browsing internet, Pandora, and other light weight tasks. I'd say it probably only last for 4 hours without any intensive jobs. I can feel some spot really heats up after 5 minutes.
* Poor memory management is the worst part of this tablet. I always have 100 ~ 140 MB left while only opening email and browser. Though the cleanup function is handy, but I need to constantly monitor the usage of memory before the tablet becomes too slow. I don't know whether this is caused by Android or I should blame ASUS.
* Again, ASUS does a good job in fine tuning their software. However, the performance is somewhat poor while using software not from ASUS. For instance, I used to use Chrome or Firefox on another tablet, which runs fine. While running them on this tablet, they are sometime not so responsive. Again, I am not pretty sure whether this is caused by Android or ASUS.
Pros: gps 64g sd card 2cameras blue tooth
Cons: slippery for me
Overall Review: Have transferred files from desktop computer to to tablet via usb cable.
Gps works will plan a route I just have not needed it yet.
Have not used blue tooth might get a mouse and try it.
Installed a 64g sd card no problems. Very pleased. Mike
Pros: feels like a solid build. nice, simple asus android tablet. has not crashed yet, prettty snappy when changing between apps for 1GB ram.
Cons: more internal memory would be nice, but adding a 32GB mini sd is cheap
Pros: I like the 7" form factor of this tablet. It fits very nicely in my hand in portrait mode. The back is made of plastic but the feel overall is of high quality. The touchscreen response is just as quick as any iOS device that I own. The screen is plenty bright enough as well and the cameras supports more than enough pixels for general pictures and videos. Overall this is an incredible value for a decent Android tablet. I haven't purchased an ASUS product since the netbook eeepc craze back in 2010 but I'm glad to see that ASUS still does not skimp on quality.
Cons: The tablet didn't come with the micro USB cable and power adapter as indicated in the user manual but it did come with at least a charger. There is nothing in the description that indicates this is a refurbished device, as they sometimes come without accessories, so I have no idea why these components were not included? The clear wrapping on the outside of the box was somewhat suspicious however. It was very loose and sealed poorly. Was the box at some point opened and those items removed, and then resealed? -1 egg for the missing components and possible tampering.
Overall Review: My primary tablets over the years have been iOS devices and this is my first Android purchase. I figured for $99 I might as well give Android a proper try. My only other experience with Android is running Android-x86 in VirtualBox on my PC. Of course things like GPS and wireless mobility are useless in a virtual machine. Oh, speaking of GPS, this tablet locked onto my location with GPS right down to the foot. No problems there.
Pros: It arrived earlier than projected in good condition.
Cons: I am unable to log into my existing gmail account. That seems to be key to getting established with it. I received a message back saying someone (that would be me) tried to hack my account. If this isn't solved I will be returning it
Pros: Fast shipment from Newegg.
Looks like a good and sturdy product.
Feels like the right size in the hand
Came with Power Charger.
Cons: Missing Power Adapter and Micro USB Cable as stated on the 3rd page of the User Guide.
Overall Review: In the process of charging the unit with the Power Charger. Have not used yet so I can't give a review of the quality. The package contents show a Power Adapter and Cable also included. Notes say to contact the retailer if any of the contents are damaged or missing. Are the Adapter and Cable supposed to be included? Overall the unit can be charged and used but the other accessories would be nice for hooking up to the PC.
