What is the keyboard like?  Raised keys? Tracker button? 10 key on the right?

The keyboard is like the MacBook Air keyboard, chiclet style (yes, raised keys), it is comfortable to type. One difference from the Mac is the front of each key is rounded. There is no tracker button in the middle of the keyboard, I believe it is reserved for Lenovo Thinkpad series. There are no numeric keys on the right, if that is what you are asking, but there are 4 arrow keys, PrtSc, Delete, Home, End, PgUp, PgDn to the right of the regular keyboard.

what's Ultrabook? What's  difference between laptop/notebook and Ultrabook?

Ultrabook is Intels answer to MacBook, it's a lightweight, high performance, long battery life notebook. If weight is your primary concern then an ultra book is a good way to go, but if you're after features and don't mind the weight you should include traditional notebooks in your search. Because ultrabooks are striving for the light weight they may not have all the adapters/connections you are looking for and sometimes instead of the traditional port like VGA,dvi or hdmi they will opt for mini or micro version of the port. So if that is a concern to you be sure to check the standard ports available on the ultrabook your evaluating.

Hey Everyone.

I need some of your help. I am deciding to buy a laptop. And, i am currently in a dillemma either to buy this one, or the Lenovo G 500S. Here is the link to the laptop, I am talking about.

I am a coder/ programmer. This I will run, a lot of apps., and web browser apps. Thus CPU speed, and RAM is important.

This laptop's CPU speed is 1.8GHZ and has 8GB RAM, and Hard Drive of 500 GB. The Lenovo G 500s has 2.16 GHZ. ,6 GB of Ram, but expandable to 8GB, and 1TTB of Hard drive .

What do you guys think. I would appreciate your feedback. ?

I use this for research work, but naturally basically over SSH.  I'm not sure exactly what you mean by browser apps, but if you're coding (running an IDE + a bunch of other stuff), I would expect RAM would be your concern.  You shouldn't have any issues with RAM (I wouldn't think), but the CPU is definitely no powerhouse, nor are the graphics.

I wouldn't recommend this machine if it will see heavy CPU or graphics-intensive workloads, but I find it phenomenal for portability and battery life.  If 500GB -> 1TB is a concern, I'd say get an external HDD in either case.

As to all the bad reviews about the wifi: Update the drivers.  Problem solved.
