No, it is not a touch screen! 
Though be aware, the mouse pad on this specific model has real issues. I think there is a recall on it, or if there is not, it should be cause it really lags like it is always pressed down and it jumps. You can Google the issue too. There are more people complaining about this issue on certain forums.

Hello All,
The spec for this 8GB memory laptop said it has 3 cells battery and for each charge, the laptop can run for 6 hours. I searched high and low on the internet. The general feedback from various forums said the 6hours/charge run is for 6cells battery only. Anyone who has experience with this 8GB configured laptop can give me feedback does the 3 cells battery really be able to operate the laptop for 6 hours or the battery is not a 3 cells battery as listed in the spec?
