Yes, The battery will usually last 4-5 hours before needing charged if it's in constant use.
Also, I found it funny that it asked me your question, being that we share a name.

Does it have an hdmi port ?

It does not.  It has a displayport.

Displayport can be converted to HDMI with a very simple converter.  I prefer displayport over HDMI because you can convert displayport to many different interfaces (including HDMI).  HDMI however is much trickier and problematic to convert.

This laptop does not have a webcam but otherwise works great.

Can this accommodate RAM of more than 4 GB?

Yes, but!  The RAM arrangement on these units is that one module is permanently mounted on the motherboard with a second module available and replaceable through a bottom access panel.  I've purchased three of these.  Two of them came with 4 GB on the board and an empty slot in the panel.  The last one had 2 GB on the board and a 2GB chip in the slot.  Which ever arrangement you get will determine the limit on total RAM.

What is the screen resolution of this laptop?

the Highest resolution is 1280 * 800, which is kind of disappointed. but other than that, everything seems decent.

I am assuming this computer does not have microsoft office. How much to add this software?

Search Newegg's site for the Microsoft Office version you would like and purchase it separately. The prices vary between versions.

Question 7

Does this come with an integrated graphics care or a discrete nvidia one?

On CPU-Z, the graphics shows up as "Intel HD Graphics", which would be an integrated card.  It drives the laptop display to 1280x800.  However, I am using a 27" external monitor capable of 2560x1440 and the laptop drives it to full resolution using the DP (display port).
