Im having trouble choosing between this laptop the Lenovo Y700 and the Acer Aspire V15 black edition.
Both have almost exact same specs. Any recommendations?

I don't know how great Acer is for reliability, I've never owned one. Lenovo tends to be very good with reliability. That being said, if there's a very significant price difference (with the Acer being hundreds of dollars cheaper), you'll have to weigh what's important to you.

The Lenovo is a really nice computer, especially considering the price.

The HDD is 5400 RPM. However, you can easily buy a M2 SSD and stick it in if you want a faster read speed

Is it relatively easy to install your own M.2 SSD and copy the OS to it to make it the primary drive? I'm think the M.2 would be great as the primary drive and keep the 1TB HDD as a secondary drive.

it is easy to install M.2 SSD to your system but it is not easy to copy your O.S to your SSD. you will need some third party software to do so, they will make the work easier, and make a note that you keep a system backup before going for conversion. those third party software may cost you some money.

On the Lenovo site I see that there are two options for Wireless chipset. Does this laptop have the Intel 3165 AC/A/B/G/N(1x1) Dual Band Wireless or Intel 8260 AC/A/B/G/N(2x2) Dual Band Wireless?
