Does this model charge with a usb or does it require a power brick?

Power brick for sure and it can't be sourced from with USB via hackery (12v - 2.58A)

Does this have any visible scratches or dents on it?

The one I bought three weeks ago did not have any scratches, but the stylus bluetooth does not work. I dont want to now repackage it and send it back- too much time has passed. If you order it, check the stylus- mine clearly was damaged on arrival.

is this unlocked if i wanted to take it to my current data courier?

There's no SIM card slot for this. It is a desktop in the form of a tablet that has the capability to have a magnetic attached keyboard. If you want a SIM card support you can get a USB extension that ATT actively supports... not sure about other carriers. Lookup "AT&T USBConnect Momentum 4G"
