Does this tablet come with a stylus?

No, the K1 has no DirectStylus 2, so the slot for that accessory is missing as well. It's identical in shape, size, weight and depth to the original, feels identical in hand too.
There are a couple more small differences. The K1 has rubberized speaker grilles on either side of the screen (probably for grip), the original's are solid plastic. The Shield logo on the rear of the new model is also silver rather than gloss black.

No. I tried a cheap bluetooth controller, but ended up buying Nvidias. it is well worth it. Solidly built and has a headphone jack on it.  Uses RF not bluetooth. Supports multiple controllers like a regular console. I love my tablet sooooo much.

How is this tablet for Netflix?

Overall, the K1 is great for watching videos. The screen has a great resolution for its size, the front facing speakers makes it sound better than other tablets I've used, and the mini hdmi port means I can quickly connect to a larger screen if needed. The only trade off I've had with this tablet over others is that while it's mid-sized  screen makes it ultra portable, I have found that I need to have it a bit closer to my face while the 10.1" tablets I've used have allowed me to watch them from a considerable distance away--however, I have found the larger screens to be too close when using on airplanes and other travel.

My only other comment is that investing in the magnetic flip cover saved me some frustration early on as again, it's size made it difficult to prop up without the cover attached.

Does the tablet come with a usb cord for pc charging or some kind of wall charger? I've heard rumors that it does not.

Its not a rumor. You're literally only paying for the tablet and the box it comes in. I read somewhere that they wanted to make the tablet as cheap as possible for consumers to buy.
Honestly though, you waited too long, so might as well wait for the new tablet that they release maybe later this year.

The Nvidia Tegra K1 Tablet is not bundled with the Controller.
Newegg does not list the controller in the same listing as the one for the Tabler.
However, the controller is compatible with the Tablet.

Newgg's advertisement for the tablet is confusing, since it always displays the controller with the tablet, leading unwary customers to rely on the photograph rather than the listing to get clear about what ships with the order.

As I understand the situation as of 2/1/2016,  Newegg's prices are:
- Nvidia SHIELD Tablet K1 lists for $199.00
- Nvidia SHIELD Controller lists for $59.99

Can I play any of my STEAM games from my desktop, and is this capable of playing games independent of my desktop?

This tablet cannot play PC games directly, however it can stream SOME games from your desktop to a television connected to the tablet.  Search for "NVIDIA GameStream" for more details and a list of supported games.

This tablet can play Android games independently of your desktop.

The tablet includes nothing what so ever.  It's the tablet in a box.  No charger, no controller, no headphones, nothing.

It should.  The nVidia website states this:

I personally have a 64GB MicroSDXC Samsung Evo and it works fine, I would expect yours to work as well.

Not natively. But since the back is removable, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to use a 3rd party mod to make it work.

You get what you see ... K1 and the controller.  What you need extra is a touch pen, charger, case and a bigger SD card.  With that said, I'm not a gamer but use this quite a bit for portability, handy for me.
