Is this compatible with the Galaxy Tab 4 7" display tablet?

This has the 30-pin connector. I believe galaxy tab 3 and up have the micro usb connector. This is not compatible.

My wife just purchased a 8" Galaxy 3 Tab and finds the onscreen keyboard to small to type. Does this systems keyboard dock give her the same typing capabilities as a regular key board and is it compatible with her Tab? Thank you, Carl
