I have a T-Mobile sim card and using it daily now. Can I buy this phone and just insert my old sim card to use the new phone with my original plan?

Yes.  This is a phone specially made for Tmobile.  You can use your original t-mobile simcard and plan.  I bought a 925 2 weeks ago, simply put in my old tmobile simcard and it works fine.  The 925 uses a micro-simcard, if your old simcard is regular size, you need to have it cut first.  Alternatively, the phone does include a new micro-sim in it, you can also give tmobile a call and tell them you have a new phone, ask them to transfer your account from the old sim to the new micro-sim, it should be ready in a few minutes. Hi,
I am already a T-mobile family plan customer. Do i need to sign another contract to use this phone or can i use my existing t-mobile sim card. ?

You can take your existing SIM and put it in the new phone and be good to go. I started out on an HTC 8x, then upgraded to this with no issues. When I log into the T-Mobile site, it even shows my phones as the 925 now.

All in all pretty easy and painless. If you have an older SIM, you can load the new SIM then transfer from the old to new SIM via a automated phone call. The only hard part is entering the 16 character SIM card ID.

Can I suit any SIM card or only t-mobile?

The device is still locked - you'll need to get TMobile to unlock it for you (or pay a 3rd party provider).

I've HEARD that if you have a prepaid plan for > 40 days, they'll unlock the device for you, but I can't confirm that

Is this brand new? cause price so different from tmobile store. how about warranty?

Yes, it is brand new in sealed box. Nokia standard 12 month warranty.
Most people believe that windows phones have not sold well at T-Mobile (T-Mobile doesn't seem interested) so there appears to be a large extra supply out there. 
All updates installed and the phone works great. 
OS update 8.1 coming this summer! Microsoft has promised all phones will get the update.

Hello, Can you confirm whether this phone is unlocked or not?

The Nokia Lumia 925 sold at Newegg is for T-Mobile or its affiliate in US.  That means it is locked to T-Mo network.  I verified this by putting a valid ATT sim in it and the phone asked for unlock codes.  It was sold at Newegg as T-Mo locked unit, so there was no confusion while buying. AT&T does have a Nokia Lumia 925 on their network so i'm assuming the T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 925 is compatible. You'll have to call and find out.

No, It's not unlocked since it was made to be used on T-Mobiles Network as stated in the description.

1. No, it is locked to T-Mobile, but if you are a tmobile customer, they will unlock it for you. I called them and was able to do so. In any case, you can get tmobile for 1 month as they do not have contracts anymore.

I have a nokia lumia 710 with the 60$ a month pre paid plan with t.mobile. Will I be able to put my sim card?memory card from my old   phone in this one & keep my same #number? and how do I move my contacts?

Just use the same Microsoft account (i.e. Hotmail) you currently use on your lumia 710 to sign in to the new lumia 925, and all your contacts will be there. 
Yes, you can use the same SIM card.  The phone number will not change.  However, the SIM that came with your lumia 710 may not support Wifi calling, which is one of the advanced features available on the lumia 925.  So, if Wifi calling does not work, assuming everything else is setup correctly, this is the reason.  In that case, just call T-Mobile and read them the numbers listed on the your new SIM card and switch it.  The whole process should take only a few minutes, and it will not cost you anything.
