does the 1520.3 yellow/white version really have 16GB of internal memory? on the 1520.3 black version, the specs say 32GB of internal memory are the yellow and white ones different from the black ones?

The Lumia 1520.3 works on Tmobile well with exception to tethering... It doesn't work.  If the white or yellow says 32 gb memory on the product listing it has the specified memory.  I have the yellow with 32gb and an aftermarket 64gb SD card.  I have had the unit for two months and am happy with the purchase.  My only gripe would be the lack of tethering support.  The phone does support QI wireless charging

Question 2

I see that this variant is compatible with USA bands but am I going to have to do anything during the set up process to make it work here in the US? I read somewhere that this phone was meant for Latin American countries...

I bought this for use on AT&T. Nokia has an app called "Access Point" which resides in the Settings menu. The app is preinstalled on the phone, but will likely be updated once you have your phone up and going. In any case, it automatically knows many APNs, including AT&T from my experience, and likely T-Mobile. In other words, you don't have to do anything. However, I had to get AT&T to do something in particular with my phone's IMEI number to get it to talk over LTE. Once that happened, I typically have 5 bars of fast LTE. Also, there is a known work around to get internet sharing to work, and you have to use it on this phone. Install the Spanish (Spain) keyboard, and once the phone reboots, you are free to remove that keyboard, but internet sharing will now work.

Question 3

For people who use it for TMobile do you actually see 4GLTE on the signal icon and does it do wifi calling?  I noticed there's no 2100 band for TMobile.

This phone is totally compatible with T-Mobile networks. It will display "LTE" where there is a signal for it, or it will display H+ for HSPA+. I sometimes see 3G displayed but a speed test shows it's still at HSPA speeds. It works on the old 1700/2100 AWS bands, or on 1900 were T-Mo has "refarmed" the signal.  Unfortunately, WiFi calling does not work. That is a feature of T-Mobile software that the phone doesn't have.

I purchased Yellow 1520 from Newegg on 05/29/2014, but I don't feel that I received a brand new phone. Here are my question to any of you who bought this phone from Newegg.

1. When you unbox your Nokia 1520, do they come with any screen protector on top of the screen? I only have a plastic bag wrapped phone after pull out from the retail box.

2. How many software updates did you received? My phone only has a mirror small update then my phone is up to date in 8.0.

3. How is your phones battery? My phone has a terrible battery life when compare it with my WP7.8 phone. This morning I read 11 minutes News on bus then the battery dropped from 99% to 95%. I listened about 20 minutes music, send 3 text messages, 1 minute FULL HD Video record and another 10 minutes website reading then that battery life dropped from 95% to 80%. Meanwhile, it takes about 5 hours to charge full with bundled Nokia charger. Is this normal?

According to the perform, I felt I am either get a refurbished or repacked Nokia 1520.

**For other people, I am a T-Mobile user and this phone works perfect after you put in T-Mobile's NANO sim card. LTE works fine, MMS works after disable the WIFI... I don't need to config. any setting.

Mine came in a sealed box with the plastic screen protector that you pull off as per any new Lumia phone.
I can't recall the amount of updates but there was at least two.
My phones battery is amazing, I have pushed up to the dev preview for 8.1 now and love the phone.
The phone battery with average use from 8 to 6 with 3 goes off music lands me at around 70% battery.
I can't say exactly how long it takes to charge but 5 hours seems easy to long to me.

Is this phone usable worldwide with all carriers?

Absolutely!  This Nokia Lumia 1520.3 is the Latin America (unlocked) LTE version.  But, also is unlocked which means that any sim card from any GSM network carrier around the world, will work in this phone.  Buy it with confidence.  You have my blessings.

This is a global Latin American variant with 32GB of memory and Qi charging. This is clearly not an AT&T model, which I hate with a passion because of how AT&T gutted it.

Hi! I am very interested in buying this to replace my AT&T 920 . I have unlimited internet on my plan and I want to know if the 1520 can do tethering/ hotspot out of the box or I need to play with it.
#2 Can the new WP8.1 manage folders, like loading an microSD with pictures from my computer and sticking it in the phone?

I'm on ATT and couldn't get tethering to work with the ATT SIM. The phone checks with the SIM and its service provider to either enable/disable tethering.

To confirm this has Qi wireless charging and works on AT&T 3G/4G/LTE bands?

I'll also confirm that this has Qi wireless charging - built in.  It also uses AT&T 3G/4G/LTE bands.  I had to enter in the AT&T APN info, but after that, everything is working beautifully.  I'm getting download speeds of just under 30Mbps in my area (a very small city).
