Does this camera have an SD card slot for recording?

No, this camera does not have a SD card slot. But it does include a fully featured DVR program that you could use to record video to a hard drive. For this model, using this software is the only way to record video. From within the camera's web interface you can setup still image emails or FTP uploads to a computer upon motion detection or by scheduling a time to capture the stills.

Can this camera be installed on mac? Spec says mac browser is supported but only windows for install. Is this correct ?

I do not have a Mac but suspect I know the answer.  As an IP camera it does not depend on you client computer OS in itself.   The camera has a built in web server for configuration and seeing the video stream.  Here are the two limitations I expect for the Mac:

1) Finding the camera to configure (install)  They have a tool that locates the camera initially by mac address (this mac is the network card serial number, not computer brand).  The utility lets you set or identify the IP address to use to point your web browser at the camera web server to complete configuration and is probably windows only.  There are other ways to find the camera initially (check your router for recent  DHCP leases or scanning software etc) but you will have to work through that part.

2) Audio stream.  The camera provides feeds through Active X in IE (windows technology) or through Java (platform independent).  I have never gotten the audio portion to work in Java, nor any indication the audio is even supported with Java.

Overall great cameras, I bought 6 to monitor the kids rooms and play areas.  The free cloud app to connect to the cameras works better on the IPhone than Anderoid.  I use Blue Iris (3rd Party) to record and alert which works well with these cameras, but this is a Windows app.

Is this camera able to broadcast over the internet to my location at the office for home monitoring? 
Does the camera require AC Power or battery operated?

Yes it does broadcast over the internet through a app that comes with the device. Aldhough the app is not so good. 
It operates on ac power not batteries
