Pros: Sends notifications to you when someone presses the doorbell or it recognizes a person
Easy to setup and app walks through all the steps

Cons: More mounts with camera, longer screws for more secure installation

Overall Review: Would recommend to anyone looking for a doorbell where they can monitor the front door

Pros: The app walked you through the entire process.

Cons: A little sensitive. I live out so a moth flew by and it notified me as if someone was at the door. Not much of a Con.

Overall Review: I would recommend to anyone who already has other nest products. Also it syncs up with my Google home environment as a bonus.

Pros: Awesome when it worked. Video quality on medium setting we better than expected. Install wasn't too bad. Meshed well with other Nest products

Cons: Died less than a year of ownership.

Overall Review: I love Nest products. I own 3 other Nest devices (thermostat, outdoor camera, and smoke alarm). All work flawlessly except for the Hello. I've confirmed the proper voltage is still reaching the unit, but the unit will not power on.

You've been warned ... Nest customer support is awful 2/9/2019 6:48:55 AM

Pros: The Nest Hello doorbell is a nice unit. Good installation instructions, clear video and nice wide-angle view.

Cons: Nest customer support is among the worst I have encountered. I bought two Nest Hello units a couple months ago. One is working perfectly (so far) but the other one is defective (the infra-red lamp will not always illuminate, and I get strange flashes occasionally on the video feed).

So, I started an online chat with one of the Nest reps. She offered me very little help, even after I sent her two video clips showing the problems. She responded with: "I've checked the video clips and see that this is not the expected behavior." When I asked for a warranty replacement she responded with: "I would like to inform that newegg.com is not an official retailer of nest. I request you to contact. newegg.com." So, I asked her pointedly if my unit was under warranty. She then admitted it was under warranty. I again asked for a replacement unit, but she refused. I am now on a 2nd long telephone hold with their tech support people. Very poor service!

Overall Review: No, I would not buy another Nest product. The equipment is very good when it works, but their service is awful. Stuff breaks; that's part of life. But spending (so far) about 2 hours trying to get help that is not forthcoming is not acceptable.

Pros: It's great to see people ringing the doorbell and speak to them without having to unlock and open the front door.

Cons: Paid subscription to unlock all the features

Overall Review: To unlock all the features of this requires a paid subscription. But face recognition seems worth it.

Doorbell that exposes ALL 10/9/2018 3:57:56 PM

Pros: - Lets you know when the nice doggos and puppers try to stop by and say hello
- Lets you know who actually damaged your package or decided to play frisbee with it
- Can catch the ninja delivery guy
- Reminds you that your awesome neighbors look out for you
- Straight forward and easy install
- Video is very clear and high fps

Cons: - App is meh
- Box says it will only operate in certain temps. Haven't had any issues but we'll see when extreme temps hit.

Overall Review: - Protip: if you live in a condo/townhome and you're trying to figure out how to turn off the power to the doorbell, switch off the fuse with the smoke detectors or ceiling lights. That will probably work.
