Can sound bar connect to my existing Vizio TV?

It depends on which model TV you have but I would be extremely surprised if you vizio didn't have an audio out port. Usually an optical out, so u just need an optical cable to connect them.

Can this be used wired OR wireless? I would rather not have to plus in two different things.

This unit must be used wired. One wire will run from you audio source to the soundbar and one wire will run from the soundbar to the subwoofer. The only exception would be if you connect to the soundbar with bluetooth, then a wireless connection is made from the bluetooth device to the soundbar, and you will still have a wire running from the soundbar to the subwoofer.

is this sound bar compatible with my samsung 62 in plasma i have run into a lot of problems with sound bars not  being compatible ??

Not sure what compatibility issues did Michael have, but this unit should work fine with any device that has "Analog Audio Input" or "Optical Audio Input".

I use mine with optical cable (BELKIN PURE AV Model AV20000-06 6 feet Digital Optical Audio Cable M-M), hooked-up to a Samsung 40” LED UN40F6300AFXZA television.

Using the optical audio cable, video and sound are synchronized out of the box ... but if using the analog audio cable there is synchronization issues, there are adjustments available in the sound bar's menu.

This unit is good for relatively small rooms (mine is 15X12) ... for large rooms, I would recommend a more powerful unit.

Can this soundbar be used with two extra surround speakers for a 5.1 setup?

No. It only has a connection for the sub woofer unless you splice the wire and even then it probably wouldn't have enough to power two additional speakers. That said it's a good buy haven't had any issues sounds just as good as the day I bought it and it's even better if you have a Samsung tv.

Need more info really.  Could be bad wire.  Make sure you have power to woofer.  Make sure connector is seated completly in connection socket on sound bar, etc... Never had a problem with mine.

Does the wireless sound connect work with Samsung TV pn60f5500afxza?

I installed my sound bar system a year ago. I used all of the inputs; my tv has a mini stereo output which I connected to the sound bar mini stereo input.  I connected the optical output from my DVR to the sound bar optical input; I can listen to music from cable with the TV turned off.   And my Apple iTunes are input with the bluetooth feature on the Samsung Sound Bar Remote Control.  The Base Woofer must be connected by the provided plug-in wire.  The Samsung Sound Bar is only wireless when connected with another Bluetooth device.  Note: The (USB/Bluetooth) input button is a dual use button; it must be pressed again if I don't hear my tunes. The Samsung Sound Bar Model No. HW-F355/ZA is a very good value. I would buy it again, and recommend it to a friend.  Wilbur, the sound is much better now.

I have a computer monitor without integrated speakers. My PS4 is the primary console for this monitor. It has a digital optical output, which is what interested me in a sound bar. Is this compatible through the ps4's audio, even if the monitor is not integrated with speakers? Thanks

As long as you have the optical audio from the PS4 plugged into the soundbar it should work like any other speaker system. I don't personally have a PS4, but I have a PS3 and I know you can set it to use optical audio when using HDMI, so I would assume you can change that setting on the PS4 also.

Question 8

My wife is looking for a Sound Bar with the ability to output to a set of Bluetooth headphones so as not to disturb the roommate when watching TV. Does this system have this capability?
