Yes it has VGA. No DVI. No serial

I believe it has a serial header on the mother board though.

It also has display port.

i believe that all thinkcentre models are designed for business, that means better power supply, better cooling, and supposedly designed to work 8 to 10 hours daily. So if you buy it for home it will work great and probably it will last longer.

I am looking for a cheaper tower that will run decent and have the game Purple Place on it.  Does this one have that game?

No, this machine does not have any games installed on it (other than maybe Solitaire).  It's a business-oriented PC.
