Is this product connects to a Vizio flat TV wireless? or we need to use HDMI or other audio/video cables?

This soundbar does support pairing via Bluetooth as a wireless connection between the sound source (TV, MP3 player, etc.) and the soundbar. Also included are cables for HDMI, optical digital audio (TOSlink), and 1/8" stereo jacks. I am using the TOSlink between my TV (Samsung) and the soundbar so I cannot say how well the Bluetooth connectivity works.

Question 2

Do you need a receiver or amp in order to use this product?

No you do not.  I have this upstairs in my loft.  Just have a Samsung tv hooked up to this through HDMI passed through from my Uverse box.

I did find though that if I wanted to use mulitple HDMI inputs or if the TV has apps like Spotify, Pandora, HBOGo, Netflix, you would want to put the HDMI into your TV and either the TOSLINK (optical) out from your TV to the bar, or if your TV has HDMI out use that.  That will keep you from having to change inputs.

You will still manually have to switch if you want to use bluetooth.

Also, the bass on the sub is super weak.  Like, really weak.  Almost to the point of not bothering with it.   IT was good for a refurb on sale, but I would not get it at full price or for a living room.

Does this speaker work with spotify?

Not sure what you mean? If the device you plug into it has spotify, then yes.  So if you are using the Bluetooth and your phone and tablet to play spotify, or your smart TV, it will work.

Its just like any other speaker, all it cares about is the input, so TOSLINK, HDMI, 3.5mm or Bluetooth.  You can play whatever you want on whatever device you want as long as its connected through those means.

If you are asking if it natively has an app for spotify, the answer is no, its just a speaker, nothing more.

As I am living in Germany I was wondering if this unit was dual voltage i.e.,  110/220 powered?

I'm very interested in this product..  I would like to add maybe one or two small bluetooth/wireless speakers in my bedroom to the system..  Do you feel the output to the woofer would also allow two more speakers to put out sound also??

There wouldn't be a way to do this that I know of unless you had some Service tech software to sync other wireless speakers or if you dismantled the sub to hook in wired. As far as I know the subs cloth covering material is built in to the box and has no way take it off. I do have to say these are the best sounding small speakers I've ever owned.

Question 6

I have this connected from my DirecTV receiver to the soudbar via HDMI (to HDMI in) and then the bar is connected out via HDMI to my TV (non-Samsung).  I can't control the volume with my DirecTV remote (nor the TV remote).  It will only power on and control volume +/- with the soundbar remote.

Am I doing something wrong?

Buy a samsung tv.  :)  Make sure it has "sound share".  We have a 60" in our main conference room.  It works beautifully.

If you don't want to do that, then try wiring the sound bar via the tv's optical out with a fiber wire.
