The xTool M2 Color Craft Laser Cutter & Engraver (Mfr# P0101000469) is one of the few desktop machines that combines full-color CMYK inkjet printing with laser cutting and engraving in one enclosed unit. Most desktop laser cutters only burn monochrome marks; the M2 adds true CMYK color, including true black, so you can print a full-color design directly onto wood, cardstock, felt, leather, acrylic or fabric, then cut or engrave that same piece in one synced pass, with the software handling alignment automatically.

A dual-camera system gives a real-time workspace preview and powers "Place & Go" positioning: place material on the bed and the M2 detects it and places the design accordingly, reducing wasted material from misaligned jobs. It runs on a swappable 10W blue diode laser, and can also work with an optional 3W IR module for metal marking or the CMYK inkjet module for color printing, so one machine covers cutting, engraving and printing instead of three separate devices.

Included xTool Studio software adds a library of design elements and fonts, pre-tested material settings, Smart Nesting to cut scrap, and Batch Fill for repeat production, making the M2 practical for hobbyists making personalized gifts and decor as well as small businesses fulfilling sticker, tag and custom-product orders.
