37" LCD HDTV w/ ATSC Tuner Inside

Pros: Great price, very good picture, more than enough connections, nice looking unit and it is the perfect size for my family room. I was concerned about it not being a brand name BUT it is just as good if not better than the brand name units.

Cons: Speakers aren't the best but if you turn up the bass and lower the treble it sounds good. There really isn't any cons for this product.

Overall Review: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIT! DON"T HESITATE TO BUY IT! . I read the reviews and did a lot of shopping around before I bought this TV. I was a little concerned about it being damaged in shipping but it came in perfect condition and I had it up and running within 20 minutes.I live in PA. so it was handled a lot before it got here.

Pros: 1. Picture. It has amazing quality for the price (i got it on sale), I'm using it as my pc monitor at 1280X720 resolution while I write this, and it's sharp & detailed. The picture is bright, and the contrast / sharpness is pretty good as well. 2. Not 1 dead pixel.. (even with the crack case, see cons) 3. It has all the connections I could want, I was able to hook my PC, PS3, PS2, GAMECUBE, DREAMCAST, SATURN, theatre system. 4. It's thin.

Cons: 1. You have to make sure you put it on "home" mode and not "show room" or it will lock up half of the option. 2. The shell looks & feels cheap. 3. POOR PACKAGING. It doesn't have enough packaging foam. The TV came with a crack on the shell. It must have been dropped during shipment or at the warehouse, but despite the crack on the shell, the tv works perfectly.

Overall Review: I will definitely check the product before I sign the shipping statement in the future. The crack on the shell is definitely a close call.

Pros: Tons of features and inputs.

Cons: 3 out of five replacements were defective and the other two were damaged.

Overall Review: Olevia customer support is terrible. Original LCD was defective. Replacement was damaged during transit. Second replacement was sent damaged (refurb) and DOA. Third replacement was a completely different LCD and DOA. Trying for number five or maybe a refund. Buy your LCD from Newegg, but buy a brand name. The savings are not worth it. It's taken five months and i still do not have an acceptable replacement.

Pros: Great TV for the price, No dead Pixels on arrival no problems whatsoever until....

Cons: Firmware upgrade process is very easy but not without its bugs. The software is cheaply programmed and prone to problems. While upgrading my firmware the program froze on its initial steps (the most crucial) basically it erased the firmware on the TV then froze up. Customer service instructed to restart the process but the TV would not power on due to the fact that the original operating system had been erased. NO WAY of fixing said problem from consumer end. Had to send TV back-upgrade firmware at your own risk.

Overall Review: currently undergoing return process what a pain. Products like this should have better streamlined methods of upgrading software. I highly regret my decision to upgrade the firmware before I had a great TV with no problems now I have nothing.

Pros: 2nd HDTV, pretty good picture quality, almost match my 61" tv. But for that price it is an excellent choice. Receiving 30 Digital and HDTV OTA channels with excellent picture

Cons: blue light, Lack of remote control compatible codes, date-time function out of sync. No firmware available.

Overall Review: Haven't try my PC on it yet. Thinking in getting a learning remote control. Hope a new firmware come out and fix the blue light that is starting to be annoying and that includes compatibles remote control codes for Univ. Remotes.

Pros: Great price! Bought on Thanksgiving weekend so received major discount. Nice clear picture. Just right for my family room.

Cons: First unit damaged. Slow replacement, slow tech support, slow olevia website, poor documentation and very poor packaging. Newegg people are very nice and willing to help.

Overall Review: I'll consider buying local next time and pay more to get immediate help and less hassle.

Pros: This is the first hd tv I've owned and it rocks. PBS HD channel is sweet. I really love this tv and would have bought another if I had the money. Shipping was fast, TV has bright Brights. Easy to setup. It looks like olevia doesn't support these anymore or at least they took them off their webpage. Great tv though and I would recommend it to ANYONE especially if price was any part of a deciding factor. Best deal for a tv that exists. Even at xxx it's a steal.

Cons: Cons are minimal-TV takes for ever to start up; There is a bright blue light when it is turned off; Power switch hidden in back next to the power plug; Channels slow to change; Remote started causing the TV to mute when I would hit up a channel (every other channel would get muted or unmuted)(this happened last night but started working after I shut everything off and took batteries out of remote.) UPS shipped the tv with a HUGE gash in the box right were the screen was. I refused the package and Newegg sent me a new tv for the same price, even though the price changed to 899. They were very helpful and the shipping was fast. I hooked the TV to my computer via VGA (as did Zombeeaholic in another review) and everything worked fine. Then I changed some resolutions around and all of a sudden it would only let me use 1400 X 1028. Even that was hard to get to work. If you want to use the native resolution of the TV (1366x768) use a program like Quickres or something like that.

Overall Review: A few things: Screen>auto adjust is only for the VGA link - Remote that came with it feels cheap - make sure you select “Home” when you first turn the tv on or you’ll loose some functions (if you already selected ‘showroom’) go to the Olevia site to figure out how to put it back – For the display driver on your pc use Analog, not TV, (I had to use a dual-display 60Hz 1400X1028 laptop + analog) – Plug your cable connection into the antenna port and do a scan for over the air channels – you can also get a hd tv antenna which will bring you MUCH better HD channels (the hd signal is compressed a bunch when it comes through the cable line, still looks great though) Finally, the audio outputs on the back of the TV are sweet ( Fiber and coaxial ) and both are digital out. Hook one of these puppies (doesn’t matter which one, same quality) up to your receiver for excellent audio. Email me at for any questions comments.

Cons: I purchased this TV on 11/24/06 and have had it set up for one week to the day. Since then, I have experienced the following problems listed by severity level: 1. The LCD has 2 significant problems: 1a.) there is a "ghost" line approximately 3/4 of an inch wide that extends the width of the screen that is very noticeable during dark or semi-dark scenes of ALL programming. (movies via dvd, cable feed, etc) 1b.) Occasionally, there is a very bright "broken" line at the top most part of the screen that seems to appear at random intervals. (it will appear infrequently no matter the input device) 2. The speakers are barely usable - they seem to go "in and out" and are accompanied by loss of depth caused by a high presence of static. 3. There is a warped section of the plastic casing at the top of the TV set. Not sure how this ever passed inspection. I can live with the "warped" casing and even the shoddy speaker sound since I only use the set speakers for TV viewing - cont b
