No, it does not.  It's part of Hitachi's "Alpha" line of value TV's that excludes Smart features.

No, I don't believe so. Usually HDR is on the high end 4k tv's. However this tv has great color recreation, very rich colors and dark blacks. Which is similar to what HDR does.
