Can this tv be wall mounted?

Yup. Just finished mounting mine to the wall. Just make sure the mount you select is rated for the size and weight and make sure you mount to wall studs.

Can you tell me exactly why this TV was returned? Does it has cosmetic scratches was it a performance issue? If it has scratches, where?

TV had noticable, deep scratches on screen.   Would not have cared if they were on the back or bezel.  Newegg was great on the exchange...the freight company was even prepared to repackage the tv for me even though I had it all ready to send back when they brought replacement.  Replacement is picutre perfect...went over entire screen close up...Definitely as good as new.

Will this screen work in sub-freezing temperatures as in an unheated garage or will the image become distorted?

one long scratch (very shallow; can only see in good lighting) on the back of the TV. -- Obviously cant see it after its mounted on the wall. (I probably scratched it more just trying to get it up.)

if i remember correctly this item had a 90 day return policy but no more than that. the factory warranty was void.

You know, I'm not sure. It seems everyone's has come a little different. I got mine with the cables and remote in it's original packaging.

My TV had a plastic wrap around the bevel. There was a protective plastic on the base as well.

The external box and bubble wrap was not original.

The only damage I could see on the TV was a long scratch (very shallow... can only see at certain angles with good light) on the back of the TV.

Sorry if I can't speak generally for everyone but this was my own experience.

Is there a Game Mode on this TV?

I love the TV.  There is a game picture mode like on most TVs.  There are no built in game applications.  Also, all volume settings are independent based on the input selected.   This is an issue when I watch NetFlix during the middle of the night while my family is sleeping.  I launch Netflix and the show blasts if I forget to reduce the volume.

Two questions please.  Does this set have a tuner?  How is the glare on the screen?  Thanks.

I'm not sure if it has a tuner because I used a cable box.  The glare was more noticeable than I expected with a matte screen.  My TV actually stopped working after about 2 weeks.  I had a bad experience with Vizio because the warranty is 3rd party for 90 days.  Newegg was great. I returned it and they gave me a refurbished Sharp 70" (LC-70LE640U) instead.  Much better on the glare and it has a 1 year Sharp warranty.  I'm so glad the Vizio broke.  I'm so much happier with the Sharp I feel it has a better picture at around the same price point.  Hope that's helpful.
