can you use this as a computer monitor?

Since I gave it away as a Xmas present I do not have it handy to look for the multiple pin connector coming from the computer would fit to it.  Look for that on the back of of the TV.  I hope that helps.

Can you please confirm with me that this model will play "video playback" from its usb input?  I need a tv that will play a video with a mp4 format on a usb thumb drive in repeat mode.

Just tried it again with a wide assortment of different video file formats. Ranging from .wmv, .mp2, avi, .mov, .flv, .mp3 and none of these video files will work. I am pretty sure that the usb drive is simply meant for picture viewing, document viewing and firmware updates at this point. So no it will not loop back video of any kind.

Yes, it has a sleep switch.  (I have not used it).

This is a pretty good smaller TV.  Good for a bedroom or smaller room.  However, the speakers are very poor.  I ended up buying some $10 computer speakers = big improvement.

It's a small plastic stand that attaches to the bottom. The TV leans back against it at a slight angle.
