How does it select channels if you have an over the air antenna?  Does it have to do a search or can you just punch in a channel?  If is does do a search can you add channels after the search or will you have to lose the channels it found and start a whole new search for channels?

Devin is correct.  I'm running as a second tv from a main DVR via coax analog input, so mine is permanently on channel 73 (Dish DVR).  But if you have a digital antenna setup, it will search for all local available channels and store them in memory.  Great TV for the price!

Are there RCA ports on this model?

No.  Composite video plus audio in only.  There are 3 HDMI and analog coax input. Only audio out is SPDIF so you need a converter to connect to analog stereo equipment.

Does the remote, stand, instruction book or wall hanging come with the tv?

It come with the remote and instructions.  No wall mount or stand, but has the typical feet to screw in so it can sit upright.  What TV comes with mounts and a stand anyway?
