can you download other apps besides the ones included? what exactly is a "smart" tv?

I own one and it seems there is a set list of apps to install on the tv. The smart aspect comes with internet functionality. Meaning it can update it's firmware directly and, if needed, guide you to ordering a specific replacment part thats compatible with the tv's model. It does have a browser app allowing you to surf the web just like you would on a computer. Perhaps that may include downloading apps not available from the list provided, however I'm not certain that's a possibility.

Is this TV wall mountable?

Yes, under the specs, it indicates a VESA standard mount of 200mm x 200mm. Make sure your wall mount is compatible.
