Can this product by used as a computer monitor for a Dell Computer?

If the computer has SVGA (15 pins over 3 rows) or HDMI output, yes the SE32FY22 is usable as a monitor - within some limits.  A computer with only DVI ouput would require an adapter.  One additional caveat is that just because it is larger doesn't mean there are more pixels.  For example, I cannot display clearly more things on it than I can on the 24" monitor with the same resolution that is connected to home office desktop.   However, if you just want things to be bigger, it should serve well.

We use our unit as the monitor for the computer that serves as the family entertainment center, so it gets used for watching DVDs, playbacks of recorded TV, NetFlix/Amazon/YouTube videos, surfing the net, etc.  It does very well in that role, remains clear up close and is easily the equal of a much more expensive unit that we lost to a lightening strike.

Does this come bundled with a VGA wire?

No it does not come with a VGA wire nor any hookup wires. 
It is a great monitor however. I use it for a bench monitor and i switch between computers and a cable box via hdmi matrix switch. It recognizes computer input through the hdmi from a video card DVI as a DVI signal. I have not tried the VGA port yet. I have a bench umbilical built with a VGA cable and a DVI cable with an HDMI adapter so i can hook it up to any computer. 
Its picture is excellent both cable tv and computer screen through HDMI. One of the best purchases i've made. If you are on the fence ,BUY IT!! Use the digital ins if you can. Its a great monitor and it will even shut itself off when it loses signal for long enough. You will have to turn it back on with the remote but for a 32 inch1080p monitor for its price is a steal considering anything above 27 inch is signifcantly more.

This is really a nice TV for the price. It is cable ready, internet ready with 3 HDMI in puts. So far I'm very happy with television. Has a good picture and good sound.

Will this unit play video offer USB Storage stick?

Never tried it, but you can pull up the manual online to see.
I stuck a USB drive in to see but I could could not access it so it may only be for updates? I would read up on the manual if you need that sort of thing, I don't it because I have it hook up to my computer which has USB inputs.

Does it have USB port?

Yes and no. If you look at the specs it says that it supports USB but only for hardware or firmware updates. The port is THERE but you cannot use it as you would a computer USB. FWIW, I waited until this was on sale for $169 and purchased it for my mother who truly has no need of a USB port. If you are patient, you can find things like my Vizio 47" 3D TRUE 120hz TV for around $450. Save your money for that rather than spend $200 on this unless you are just buying a simple HD TV for an older parent or a kid. Hope this helped...

How well does this work as a computer monitor? Can you see and read text clearly on it? Is there a visual degrade between a traditional monitor in regards to picture quality?

I am using it as a Debian 7 Linux X display to support mythtv,
a DVR app.  So mostly viewing recordings of TV shows.
If you are at correct distance ( 2  ft +) should be ok as monitor.

Hello.  I'm wondering if a (Time Warner) coaxial cable input is compatible with this TV?  I see the coaxial jack in the pictures but it's labeled as "Coaxial Digital Out" so I'm confused.  Just to be clear, my current TV is about 20 years old and the (Time Warner) cable signal simply screws into a coaxial jack on the back of the TV, there's no cable box, and I use the TV's remote control to select the channel.  Would this Seiki SE32FY22 work the same way with this type of (Time Warner) cable TV signal?  Thanks for any help; I really appreciate it.

I don't have Time Warner, and do not use it with a cable box. I connected a regular set of rabbit ears to the coax input and it works fine at receiving over the air digital broadcasts.

how do i get the  code to the remote?

You don't mention what cable company you have...I have comcast and found this on another forum entry by tech 2441, it worked for me...

I did this on my Comcast remote

Press tv,
Then press and hold setup, till it blinks 2 times
press 991,
Then press 1
Press the CH+ button slowly in until the tv turns off,
then press setup one more time to store the code....

is this an led lcd t v. country of origin ? how does this t v rate
against Samsung equivalent .

This is a Direct-Lit LED TV. Its made in China. It gives a great picture and its a steal for what they are charging for it. I bought two; one for my sister and myself. Most people don't know that their are only five manufacturers in the World that make Flat screen TVs. Its a great bargain.

Question 10

I cant find (if there is) the over the air digital program guide for any specific station. It just shows the info. on the current program playing on the channel you are watching.  Is there a listing of the programs and times? Does anyone know if we need to upgrade the firmware via the usb port. perhaps that has the afor mentioned channel program guide? Geo.

I didnt see any kind of guide on there for tv channels. I dont watch tv on mine though. I dont know of any flat screen tvs that show that stuff. At least all the flat screens Ive owned. A dvr will show all that stuff.
