So is this a TV or a Monitor?

Hello, it’s both. I have three of them and I use them as monitors for playing X-Plane and Elite: Dangerous. I also watch stuff on Netflix on one monitor while working on the other two. They’re good quality especially at that price. Out of the box the image is decent for normal work and play. But I had to modify the settings a bit for TV shows and now it looks even better for shows and movies. No complaints whatsoever and had them for about 2 or 3 months now, using them almost daily for at least 2-4 hours per day.

YES IT DOES AND IT WORKS VERY WELL WITH A LOW COST OVER THE AIR ANTENNA. GREAT PICTURE, GOOD SOUND, NICE REMOTE, AN EXCELLENT VALUE. WOULD BUY AGAIN FOR SURE.

Can this be used a computer monitor ?

This is a very nice TV. Sound is a bit tinny. I am not using it as a computer monitor. With that said.. According to the manual you can use the VGA/audio input from a PC. But, depending on your PC video card output you may have other options as well. The TV has 1 VGA port, 3 HDMI, and 1 RGB. I think I'd try the HDMI first. Suggestion: if the HDMI doesn't provide a clear picture on the TV, check your PC video card settings and try the 59mHz instead of 60mHz setting. Made a huge difference on one TV I hooked up to a PC with a different TV.

What is the distance from the bottom of the tv to the stand when using the legs? I need a few inches for the cable box to go underneath it.

Not much room. I just measured and it’s only about 1 3/8” of clearance.

1080p is recognized from all devices I plug into it from a roku stick to a ps4. The picture is sharp.
