Hi, I want to buy this tv to use it as a Computer Monitor with the HDMI port, will it work properly?

It's working good for me. I needed a small monitor with multiple video inputs. Just use the remote to select the video input you want to view. You may have to adjust to video resolution on your PC.

Does this TV have a coax input for a standard cable box? i.e.: Time Warner set top cable box.

Yes. Great TV, light wieght and good picture. I use it in a camper. It can also be run off a 12VDC battery.

IS THIS SUNLIGHT READABLE?

Yes it is, it is very sharp, I always move it to the patio, and I can watch my favorite channels, extra info, i bought it to connect my Pi and works wonderful.

I have mine on a wall mount in my workshop, but the post at the bottom looks kinda crappy. Anybody know how to remove the base connector post?

I wonders the same thing a year ago when I bought mine so I called the company... You have to take apart the entire frame to remove the post. About 8 screws if I remember correctly. Took less than 3 minutes with no complications at all!

Can overscan be turned off via the tv to the HDMI input from a computer show everything on the screen? i have also seen this called a to fit option under picture size

It should shut down when the computer shuts down.
