is product non stick type or does food stick to bottom?

All stainless steel. No additional coating inside. You really do not need that for stainless steel. Surprisingly, it doesn't stick to the bottom. I was worrying about that too. I would also suggest to use low or medium heat. I bought this set for my wife and absolutely loves it! Good luck!

Question 2

The description says stainless steel slotted spoon and "flipper".  Are they actually stainless steel or are they nylon like the picture seems to show?

The description is wrong, they are made of heat resistant plastic composite.  Raised lettering on the handle says "heat resistant to 410 degrees F.  The certainly hold up well.

are these compatible / usable on those fancy heat plates that use magnetism instead of the standard/ol fashion elements used by electric stoves?

Yes. These will work on induction cook-tops. It is printed on the bottom "induction stainless". I have tested it, it works well. The steel will get heated by the induction oven and the copper will spread the heat evenly. These are good set of pots.

can this be used on induction cooker?

I haven't tried it yet but, I believe it can be used on an induction burner.. The cookware is heavy gauged so it would work well with the induction stove...

Is there a 10 inch fry pan included? The description of pieces included does not match the items included in the picture or as listed on the box. There does not appear to be a 10 inch fry pan included, but a vegetable steamer instead. Please clarify.

No, the 10" pan is the sauté pan in the bottom right. They count it twice in the description, once as the "10 inch" and once as a sauce pot. You get what is in the picture only, but it is a great set and still well worth the money, I'm very happy with mine.

Works great on induction plates, since the require a metal pot or pan to work right.
