The RAM is removable/expandable.  It comes with 1x 16GB stock, but I was able to upgrade to 32GB using 2x 16GB CL40 DDR5-5600 SODIMMs.  I attempted to upgrade to 64GB (2x 32GB) first, but was not successful.
