Are this compatible with the
ASUS MAXIMUS VI EXTREME LGA 1150 Intel Z87 Motherboard?

i'm using the sabertooth Z87 motherboard, and my friend buit my pc custom from ground up, with my needs being special for high resolution quality and raw digital still and HD video images along with 4k plus in the near future.   So, I'm using a top line quadro card, and I also just purchased an NEC multisync PA272w sp2 (with the spectraview callibration software and callibrator.  The monitor is extremely good, and a standard use in the pro photography field.  The ram is corsairs best, and I love it, and I'm also using samsungs top of the line SSD HD for my (c) operating system.  I can link you up with my custom pc builder, who primarily builds gaming rigs so mine of course is a specific build tailored to my photography post process work and video editing, which has different needs and is not for gaming, but he would know more.  let me know.  New Egg rocks!

Can it be upgraded to 64Gb later on?

As long as your motherboard has the capability of supporting 64GB of RAM, and you have the slots available, you can buy a second 32GB kit and install it. The concerns with multi-channel memory is usually about the bus speeds the memory is running on. If all of your memory is operating at the same speeds and latency, there should be no issues with installing a second kit at a later date.
