Does this board support ECC registered ram?

Accepted Answer

No. It only supports ECC unregistered RAM, not the registered variety.  I recommend choosing from the Memory QVL on the Asrock Rack website.

Right now, I'd say no. The CPU support list only goes up to 3xxx series CPUs

I believe the BIOS AGESA Combo needs to be at least 1.1.x.x for AMD 5xxx series CPUs and on the BIOS update list it only goes to 1.0.0.6 as of December 2020.

I see that the board has onboard graphics. So I should not need an additional graphics cards when using a non-APU Ryzen chip?

Does this fully support an 1800x Ryzen? I don't want to have to throw my 3900x in this board just yet and 1800x has a lot of life left.

Not on the list of supported CPUs. I have both a 1700 and 1600. I have ESXi 6.7 running. Every once in a while I get a crash. I'm not sure if it's because neither of my CPUs, 1st gen Ryzen, are not officially supported. I'd say, don't be shocked if the 1800 doesn't work as expected. Better to go with a supported CPU.

This says it supports RAID 0/1/10, is that functional with both windows and Linux OS? Or will an external card be needed for Linux support.
