Holding the button for 3 seconds initiates copying mode, capturing the latest external monitor's EDID into the emulator, including video and audio format details, to enable accurate HDMI screen emulation. * If you desire surround sound, please copy an EDID from a display that supports 5.1ch or 7.1ch audio, as the preset EDID only supports 2.1ch audio.
To Prevent EDID Loss: This device supports copying and emulating EDID when connecting to devices such as splitters, switchers, and extenders. The quality of the cable and the age of the screen may affect the success rate of the EDID copy. Please try an alternative setup if necessary.
