The Cable Leader 4ft IEC C14 to C15 power cord is a heavy duty PDU jumper for high-temperature equipment. The C14 plug connects to a rack PDU outlet, power strip or C13/C14 power source; the notched C15 connector delivers power to equipment that uses a high-temperature C16 inlet - common on network switches, servers and other gear that runs hot.

Why C15? The C15 connector is the higher-temperature version of the standard C13. Equipment that generates more heat (managed switches, storage arrays, server cabinets) often requires a C15/C16 connection that a normal C13 cord is not rated for. This cord gives you the correct, safe connection.
